Welcome to my first blog! I’m so glad you’re here. I want to share a little about who I am, my approach as a therapist, and some fun things about me outside the office.

Why I Became a Therapist
For me, therapy is about creating space where people feel safe, seen, and supported. I’m passionate about helping with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, and trauma—and I’m especially drawn to breaking old cycles so people can grow into healthier, more authentic versions of themselves. At the heart of it, I love being a steady, compassionate presence as people navigate life’s challenges.
My Therapy Style
Think of our work together as a mix of meaningful conversation, empathy, collaboration, and (yes!) a little humour. Laughter can ease even the heaviest moments. I use different techniques depending on what you need, but my biggest focus is building a real, trusting relationship. I know from my own journey that self-discovery isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it; and I’ll walk alongside you every step of the way.
Why Private Practice?
Private practice gives me the freedom to really connect with clients, without the red tape. Each session feels unique, and it’s incredibly rewarding to witness the growth and breakthroughs people experience.
Life Outside the Therapy Room
I’m a morning person who loves coffee, snuggles with my Boston Terrier, and diving into books and ideas from thought leaders like Brené Brown, Mel Robbins, and Dr. Gabor Maté. I grew up in Ontario and will always love the lakes of Muskoka, but these days I’m enjoying the beauty of the Bay of Fundy and the Kennebecasis River.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me kayaking, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, painting, or even doing a little woodworking. Creativity is my therapy.

Final Thoughts
Whether you’re exploring therapy for the first time or just curious, I believe in the power of connection, understanding, and growth. If you’d like to know more, feel free to reach out—I’d love to connect.
